Glass: We’ve got Hibs in our sights

Stephen Glass saw Aberdeen close the gap on third-placed Hibs and urged them to set their sights on a big finish to overhaul the Easter Roadside.

Second-half goals by Callum Hendry and fit-again Ryan Hedges eased the Dons to victory at Livingston, despite a stunning strike from Jay Emmanuel-Thomas 10 minutes from time.

With Hibs losing to St Johnstone, the Dons are now just three points behind them going into a head-to-head a week on Wednesday as boss Glass targets finishing best of the rest again behind Rangers and Celtic.

He said: “We’ve kept it alive. We knew the score from Easter Road at half-time, so it gave us a carrot to dangle in front of the players – can we set up a massive game next Wednesday?
