THOUSANDS of fans of BBC drama Line Of Duty believe Detective Superintendent Ted Hastings is the corrupt police officer known by the code name H.

The head of fictional anti-corruption unit AC-12, played by actor Adrian Dunbar, has become the most popular online search for the mysterious H.

His deputy Detective Inspector Steve Arnott, portrayed by Martin Compston, is seen as the next most likely suspect.
