It's now nearly 19 years from his initial arrival at the Reds, but Cristiano Ronaldo is still at the pinnacle of world football.
That was underlined further on Monday night when the Portuguese superstar picked up two FIFA awards.
It would take too much time to deliver a roll call on his ever-growing list of achievements, but the fact he probably has his own parking space at these glittering venues speaks volumes.
Despite some suggestions he would miss out, the 36-year-old was named in the FIFPRO Men's World 11. He followed that up by getting his hands on a special achievement award on account of breaking the record for most goals in men's senior internationals.
