A MAN who dragged an innocent woman from her car and savagely beat her after wrongly accusing her of involvement in the brief disappearance of his daughter has escaped jail 'by the skin of his teeth!
Father-of-four Nathan Lovell, 33, followed his victim to her home in his own vehicle before kicking and punching her about the body saying: “You've stolen my little girl.”
He also drove off in the victim's Mercedes CLK 200 car leaving her badly injured at the roadside.
The attack in Leigh occurred after Lovell, who had been drinking heavily, saw the victim talking to his daughter in a park in the moments before the youngster went missing. The little girl turned up safe a short time later.
