A 16-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a car crash.
The youngster was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved, a Toyota Avensis.
He had to be cut free from the wreckage by firefighters following the incident on Parkhills Road, Bury.
Police said the driver fled the scene.
The Toyota had hit a parked car.
