A PAINTING by LS Lowry is expected to fetch more than £1.2million at a sale next week.
Lowry painting could fetch more than £1m

The artwork, appropriately titled The Auction, has never been offered at an auction before.

Executed on a large scale in 1958, it was exhibited at Lowry’s retrospective show at the Royal Academy after his death in 1976.
