TWO more teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a 16-year-old boy.

Detectives arrest two more teens over boy's death

The latest arrests over the suspected stabbing of Kennie Carter now brings the number of teenagers being questioned to eight.

Kennie died on Saturday after suffering a fatal wound to the chest on Thirlmere Avenue in Stretford.

Greater Manchester Police have now announced that eight arrests have now been made in total including two boys, aged 16 and 15, who were taken into custody yesterday.

Six of the boys remain in custody Manchester to be questioned by officers from GMP's Major Incident Team.

Two other suspects - aged 17 and 15 - who were arrested on Sunday have been released after questioning with no further action to be taken against them.

Officers confirmed that six warrants have so far been executed in relation to the investigation.

Some of the remaining crime scenes in the Stretford area were due to be removed yesterday.
