A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was stabbed in the neck in a Manchester school as he sat an exam.
The Manchester Evening News understands the offender walked into Manchester Academy in Moss Side and knifed the victim in the neck in front of teachers and classmates during the examination.
Emergency services rushed to the incident at around 9.40am on Thursday.
The boy was taken to hospital where his injuries were deemed to be serious but not life-threatening.
A 13-year-old male pupil was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and possession of a bladed article, police said.
Two other boys aged 13 and 12 were also arrested on suspicion of assault.
