AFTER a two-year absence due to Covid, Manchester Day - a city-wide celebration - is back for 2022 with organisers promising it will be “bigger and better than ever".
The day-long celebration of Manchester, its people, and of all things Mancunian will take place on Sunday, June 19, and will see the return of the Manchester Day Parade which will weave its way through the city's streets.
Back for its first outing since the last Manchester Day was held preCovid in 2019, the spotlight for this year's big return of the city's muchloved free event will be fixed firmly on children and young people.
