Andrew Gwynne, MP for Denton and Reddish, said he has been aware of concerns that ambulances were getting stuck at roadblocks in Stockport for ‘some time’.
But he said when he raised them with the North West Ambulance Service he was told ‘there wasn’t an issue.’
Residents in Heaton Chapel, one of several suburbs in Greater Manchester where Low-Traffic Neighbourhood measures are being trialled, refused to give up the fight.
