STONINGTON—John Lincoln couldn’t see the reaction to his students’ production of 10 comic short plays by David Ives. That’s because his audience watched from inside their vehicles parked at the Stonington ball field.
Lincoln could, however, hear the cacophony of horns honking their approval after each play, performed on the afternoons of October 24 and 25.
“This is the first time we’ve done anything like this,” Lincoln, Reach director and DISHS teacher, told the audience from the stage. He and the students spoke into headsets, and the audience could hear them by tuning their car radios to 88.3 FM.
