SUNWALK will be expected to get off the mark in Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Maiden in Dundalk today.

The 76-rated son of Vadamos has shown enough in his five starts to suggest that he should be capable of landing a maiden of this standard.

Fourth to Uncharted on his debut at this venue a year ago (his only previous run on the polytrack), Sunwalk's form includes a creditable fifth to subsequent Grand Prix de Paris runner-up and Irish Derby third Wordsworth in a Curragh maiden back in April.

He came closest to victory when beaten a head by Ballagio Man at Gowran Park in May before proving a disappointing favourite in a Tipperary maiden won by Privilege.
