Look at strange alien sightings across Ireland

SCIENCE fiction fans will no doubt be anticipating the release of the Pentagon’s report on the data the US has gathered regarding UFOs.

But we’ve had our own close encounters through the years.

In fact, Ireland is one of the leading countries in Europe for witnesses reporting unidentified flying objects.

With over 105 recorded incidences in Irish airspace, there are plenty of bizarre encounters that would suggest we are not alone in this universe.

We take a look at some of our recent sightings:

Mullingar, Westmeath

In May of this year, a couple in Mullingar experienced the strange phenomenon of a UFO for around eight minutes.

When they were going to bed late at night, they spied a circular UFO outside their window.

One witness reported: “I jumped off the bed to see it and there was something big circle shape and flashing lights and changing colours, green, red, yellow, blue.

“It was huge and it wasn’t a drone for sure.

“It was in the same place up in the sky and not moving.
