Feared gang boss Cornelius Price's trial for an alleged kidnap plot in the UK has been adjourned for almost a year - as he remains gravely ill in a Welsh hospital.

The notorious gangster was due to go on trial on Monday - his 40th birthday - at Wood Green Crown Court in London along with five other defendants, including Drogheda man Mark Kavanagh.
