Nathan: I'm Wheely Sorry For Covid Party
Nathan Carter has apologised for his “irresponsible” actions after police shut down a birthday party at his home over suspected Covid regulation breaches.

Officers visited the country singer’s home in Co Fermanagh last Friday night after receiving a report.

They confirmed at least 50 people were present, and that dozens of fines were handed out.

In his apology, the country singer said family members had been visiting from Liverpool on the Bank Holiday weekend, and had organised a barbecue for his 31st birthday.

Carter said in a statement: “Given the restrictions, I realise how irresponsible these actions were and I fully apologise.”

The Wagon Wheel hitmaker, who is one of the biggest names of country music in Ireland, said they had believed the gathering to be within the coronavirus regulations and that the fine had been paid.
