AN emotional sister of Sandra Collins has appealed to those close to her killer to find the "courage" to come forward with information and end their 21 years of heartbreak.
Investigators believe the 28-year-old, who was pregnant, was abducted from Killala pier in Co Mayo on December 4, 2000, and buried in a shallow grave.
Her four siblings have never given up hope of bringing her home for burial - and gardai renewed their appeal for information to mark the 21st anniversary of her disappearance.
Detectives believe the answers to the murder probe lie in the community and detectives are working full time on the case with 300 statements taken.
Mum-of-two Bridie, who just turned 46, said: "My own children would say to me every year for my birthday 'What can we get you' and I always pick something but I'm always thinking the one gift I want is (Sandra).
