MEGALLAN READY TO SINK SEAS BID

LAST year's 2000 Guineas runner-up, Master Of The Seas, will be a warm order to take the Group 3 Earl Of Sefton Stakes (3.00) in front of the ITV4 cameras at Newmarket's Craven meeting.

However, he failed to settle in a red-hot Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot last October and, although a gelding op may have calmed him down, it could be worth siding with MEGALLAN (nap).

The colt, trained by John and Thady Gosden, won twice last season, including the Sovereign Stakes at Salisbury, and looks the type to make a better four-year-old. He should find the Imif trip ideal on his return.
