Parents of children waiting up to 13 years for medical treatment have told of their distress.
Others in hospital queues have had to give up work or college and there has been an increase in mental health issues because of the long, stressful waits.
These are just some of the findings of an online survey conducted by Sinn Fein health spokesman David Cullinane.
He received 676 replies to a request for people’s experiences.
