Kerry 2-23 Limerick 0-6 McGrath Cup semi-final
JACK O'CONNOR eased his way back into his third coming as Kerry boss at Austin Stack Park last night.
A hugely dominant first half performance set up a comfortable Kingdom victory over Limerick in a McGrath Cup encounter.
The die had been cast earlier in the day with a surprisingly strong team selection from the Dromid Pearses man as he prepared for his first game in charge since the 2012 All-Ireland quarter-final defeat by Donegal.
Current All Stars David and Paudie Clifford and Tom O'Sullivan were among the big names named in the starting line-up.
Defenders Dan O'Donoghue and Pa Warren, as well as returning Aussie Rules export Stefan Okunbor, were also given their opportunity to impress.
