Daughter still in shock after dad dies in double murder-suicide horror

THE daughter of one of three brothers found dead in a double murder-suicide said yesterday: “It’s like something you’d see on Netflix.”

The bodies of John, Paddy and Willie Hennessy were found in Mitchelstown, Co Cork, in February.

Two of the brothers – Paddy and Willie –were killed with an axe at a remote farmhouse while John drowned in a nearby river.

Now their relatives are joining together in a sponsored sleep-out this weekend to raise awareness for mental health and well-being.

Paddy’s daughter Elaine, who found the bodies of her father and one of her uncles, told C103’s Cork Today show the families are still in shock.

She added: “In your wildest dreams, no one ever imagines that anything this horrific would happen.

“It’s surreal, it just doesn’t happen – it’s like something you’d see on a Netflix documentary or something.
