Panorama programme to delve into Dubliner’s life as promoter

MOB boss Daniel Kinahan’s links to professional boxing are set to be exposed to a massive TV audience tonight.

The Dubliner was named in the High Court as the head of the Kinahan crime cartel.

He is said to be livid his gang’s activity and rise through boxing circles will be broadcast in a one-hour BBC Panorama special – Boxing And The Mob.

Representatives for the drugs kingpin issued a statement on Friday ahead of the programme, claiming Kinahan is just a “legitimate businessman”.

The BBC said their programme “investigates the murky world behind the glamour of the big fights and the suspected gangster who has been welcomed to boxing’s top table”.
