Conor McGregor has pledged €1million for protective equipment to be used in hospitals for medics working on the frontline.
The MMA fighter made the donation as he told fans how Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe thanked him for his video which urged people to follow guidelines to stop the spread of Covid-19.
The Notorious shared screenshots of a message received from the minister which read: “We still need to do better.
“Even with all the changes yesterday people need to keep their distance and we need to do far better with teenagers and young men and women – many of whom listen to you.”
