The TV and radio presenter and her musician husband Charlie Moon got an early Christmas present last year, when they bought the house they had been renting for over six years.
But, as housing continues to be a major issue for Ireland, the star blasted the system for making it so difficult for young people to get on the property ladder.
She said: “I can’t believe it. I keep pinching myself going, ‘How did we do this?’
“But we got really lucky. We bought our house we had been renting in Stoneybatter.”
