LeT operative among 2 killed in encounters

SRINAGAR: Two terrorists, including a top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), were killed in separate encounters with security forces in Srinagar on Monday, police said.

Soon after the encounter near Shalimar Garden, police identified the 30-year-old LeT commander as Salim Parray, a resident of Hajin in Bandipore district of Jammu & Kashmir.

"Srinagar police neutralised dreaded terrorist of proscribed terror outfit Let Salim Parray," Inspector General of Police Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said.
