ABU DHABI
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday performed Eid Al Fitr prayer alongside worshippers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Abdulrahman Al Shamsi delivered the sermon, during which he spoke about the significance of the occasion and the noble values it holds.
He also pointed out that Eid is an occasion to strengthen communication with family, creating love and affection between relatives.
He prayed for the UAE to remain a land full of peace and security.
His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, performed Eid Al Fitr prayer at Al Zaher Palace courtyard in the emirate.
His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah performed Eid Al Fitr prayer at the Eid Grand Musalla in Khuzam.
