Staff of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) marked Commemoration Day by observing a minute of silence at 11.30 am. They prayed to Allah Almighty for the UAE martyrs to rest in peace in heaven, and for the martyrs’ families to be given patience and strength.
While the National Anthem was played, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dewa, raised the UAE flag at Dewa’s head office. He was accompanied by Dewa’s Executive Vice Presidents. Dewa employees watched the event on a live stream on an internal portal.
