FORMER England star Ashley Cole was tied up by knife-wielding raiders who broke into his mansion and chillingly threatened to "cut off his fingers”, a court heard.
The 41-year-old ex-Arsenal and Chelsea footballer's hands were bound behind his back with cable ties by six raiders in masks and camouflage gear.
Cole, wearing only shorts, was forced to his knees in front of his terrified partner Sharon Canu and their two children.
An attacker demanded "kettles" slang for watches - and jewellery - and to know where the safe was.
