BOXING
DILLIAN Whyte has been warned he must sign the contract to face Tyson Fury by this weekend or his WBC heavyweight title shot will vanish.
Promoter Frank Warren won the purse bids to stage the bout after the WBC confirmed Whyte as Fury’s mandatory challenger.
They are in discussions with Whyte’s lawyer and expect him to put pen to paper this week before the deadline on Saturday.
But Warren warned: “If he doesn’t sign, he’s out. Those were the terms of the purse bid.
“Why wouldn’t he sign? He’s getting a massive purse, it makes no sense for him not to sign.”
