DAVID COULTHARD claims Lewis Hamilton's ferocious world title fight with Max Verstappen has more in common with UFC than Formula One.
Their feud reached boiling point at Sunday's race in Saudi Arabia, Hamilton surviving smashing into the back of Verstappen's Red Bull to take the win as the Dutchman tried every trick in the book to keep his Mercedes rival at bay.
The stewards took a dim view of Verstappen's driving in Jeddah, penalising him with a five-second penalty for pinching the lead back from Hamilton illegally.
He was then handed a 10-second penalty post race after telemetry revealed he had hit the brakes down the main straight, causing Hamilton to rear-end his Red Bull.
