Tiger Woods was undergoing surgery for “multiple leg injuries” last night after rolling his car in a horror crash.
The golf legend, 45, had to be cut free from the wreckage of his SUV after being trapped inside. Rescuers used so-called “jaws of life” – hydraulic cutters – to get to him.
He was pulled out through the car’s smashed windscreen and taken to hospital.
His agent Mark Steinberg confirmed Woods, who had been alone in the car, was having surgery.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department described the accident as a “single-vehicle roll-over traffic collision”.
