PROVIDED he is invited to his own bash, it could be quite a leaving do for Sergio Aguero in Istanbul this month.
The chance to win the Champions League is what Aguero has craved the most since joining Manchester City in 2011 and it has remained the missing piece of an otherwise remarkable jigsaw.
But should City beat Chelsea in the final on May 29 then Aguero’s picture will be complete – and nobody could begrudge him a dream send-off.
It would be the fitting finish to his time at the Etihad, where Aguero has set the sort of remarkable standards those poor buggers who have to fill his boots will struggle to match.
