TRIBUTES flooded in last night for Liverpool legend Ray Kennedy, who has died aged 70.
He had been battling Parkinson's disease for decades.
The Anfield icon made a total of 393 appearances for the Merseyside club during eight successful seasons.
During his time there he won 11 major trophies, including five First Division championships, three European Cups, League Cup, a UEFA Cup and a European Super Cup.
Reds' boss Bob Paisley later described Kennedy as “one of Liverpool's greatest players and probably the most underrated”.
Last night the club said Kennedy was "legendary".
