A Couple say their lives are being made hell after buying a new £350,000 home – 9ft from a dual carriageway.
Jackie McCormack, 58, and her husband moved into the three-bed detached property beside the A446 – one of Britain’s busiest roads – after viewing it seven times.
But each visit was on a Saturday morning when there’s hardly any traffic.
Now the house shakes every time a truck goes past and they say the garden is a no-go zone for their grandson, because the fence bends when an HGV blasts by.
The couple wear ear plugs to bed at night, but are still woken by traffic noise at 5.30am every weekday.
