BEN STOKES has told cricket chiefs that the game must take a back seat during the coronavirus crisis.
Cricket administrators are meeting this week to thrash out a plan for the upcoming domestic season, with hopes that the pandemic subsides and the impact on those involved in the game is not too severe.
It is unclear just how the season, which is due to start in less than a month, will be affected.
But while there remains understandable worries over finances, the health of players and fans must come first.
