STEVE MORISON knows his Cardiff players will be right behind him at Anfield on Sunday – after they raced to his rescue following a post-match melee earlier this week.

As Morison (inset) celebrated the 1-0 Championship win over Barnsley on Wednesday, the two club’s coaching teams squared up in an ugly bust-up besides the tunnel.

The Cardiff players were in the thick of it as the Welsh club – who face Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday – wait to learn if they will face an FA charge.
