MARK TAKES INSTANT PIKE

PIKER Mark Hodges’ first trip to a new syndicate lake ended in success when he landed the biggest predator in the water.

 

The Notts-based angler hit the jackpot with the 32lb specimen which picked up a lamprey bait that had been injected with fish oil for extra attraction.

It came from a spot 25 yards out, beyond the marginal shelf, on the Lincolnshire lake. The huge pike sets a personal best.
