KEVIN BROWN provided a calm head among the chaos as Salford eventually eased past Leigh to record their first Super League win of the season.

These two sides were desperate to get offthe mark and they produced an often frantic clash with basic errors.

The promoted Centurions were fully in the contest past the hour mark as they mounted a concerted attack and were trailing by just four points.

But a moment of magic from Krisnan Inu turned the game decisively, as he twice juggled an intercept before flicking the ball to Ken Sio, who raced 90 metres to touch down.
