The 25-year-old – who missed out playing for England Knights against Jamaica in 2019 due to his wedding – is one of only two specialist half-backs in Shane Wane’s squad alongside Jonny Lomax.
Wane is missing a number of key men, including Sam Tomkins and George Williams, because of injury and has not called on his NRL stars.
