The You Give Me Something crooner says his teenage daughter Elsie is the finest young singer he’s heard in a decade – and with a voice as good as his James should know.
He told me: “Elsie loves it, she’s my oldest, she’s already coming into that world as she’s a really, really beautiful singer.
“She’s got such a natural skill, and I’m just quietly honing it.
“Honestly, she’s one of the best singers I’ve heard that’s younger than 15 in the past 10 or 15 years.
