Extra Euro millions don’t tempt McIlroy

RORY McILROY will not be altering his US-based schedule – despite the landmark changes to the new-look European Tour.

The Tour announced last week they will be rebranding to become the DP World Tour ahead of the next campaign after their long-term partner agreed a recordbreaking deal that will see annual prize money rise to £147m.

All events on the schedule will have a minimum prize fund of £1.5m, while the DP World Tour Championship will rise to £7.4m.

But it seems that the lucrative new plan is not enough to lure McIlroy away from his heavily US-based programme.

The four-time Major winner said: “I live in America.

“That’s where I’m going to play the majority of my golf.
