Ex-General: Army cut to 63K soldiers

COST-cutting plans could see the Army reduced to just 63,000 soldiers.

Britain will have a smaller force than Germany under Defence Secretary Ben Wallace.

A Government review in March recommended the 80,000-strong British Army be shrunk by 11% to just 72,500 troops by 2025.
