Covid Screen Saved Terror Bomb Cabbie

Bomb blast cabbie Dave Perry owes his life to a plastic screen fitted in his taxi to protect him from Covid.

Police believe it shielded him when Emad Al Swealmeen’s improvised explosive device detonated in the back seat.

The dad-of-two’s uncle, Michael Sultan, said: “Thank God he’s in one piece. His instinct was to get out of the car. He survived by a split second.”
