UP to 20,000 ticketless Scotland fans vowing to travel to London for tomorrow’s Euro 2020 showdown with England have been told: “Stay away.”
Tartan Army supporters plan to gather in Hyde Park before watching the Group D clash in pubs and bars. But police chiefs have told them they “should not come” if they do not have seats as there is nowhere set aside to view the match.
There are no Covid-secure fan zones and Trafalgar Square is only open to Covid-19 key workers.
Sven Lister, from the Rosyth Tartan Army supporters club, called for a big screen to be put up in Hyde Park.
Trouble
He warned: “There’s going to be groups wandering, possibly not getting to see the football, which would cause trouble.’’
