KILLER cop Derek Chauvin will be a prime target for vigilantes in prison after being found guilty of George Floyd’s murder.
Jail bosses have been ordered to watch Chauvin, 45, around the clock ahead of sentencing in eight weeks.
The prisoner is on suicide watch but his life is also under threat from other hardened inmates inside Minnesota’s only maximum-security prison, MCF-Oak Park Heights.
Former warden Jim Bruton described in his book that the inmate hierarchy was determined by the crime committed.
And at the top of the scale was anyone who had killed a cop.
