Mullins’ star shines in Cup

Kemboy crowned Willie Mullins’ domination of the Dublin Racing Festival with a gutsy victory in the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown.

The success under the trainer’s nephew Danny gave Ireland’s champion trainer a remarkable sixth Grade One triumph from eight top-level races staged over the meeting’s two days.

“When it comes together, it gives a lot of satisfaction to the whole team,” said Mullins, who walked away with no fewer than nine of the fixture’s 14 races.
