Warning as bullyboy Vlad ‘tests the West’

THE former head of the UK’s armed forces warned yesterday that it is “squeaky bum time” amid fears of World War Three.

Lord Richard Dannatt issued the alert as Vladimir Putin’s bullyboys vowed to “hit the target” of any ship entering their waters.

The pledge came after a warship fired warning shots and a fighter plane dropped bombs near HMS Destroyer on Wednesday for “illegally” entering what Russia claims is its territorial waters in the Black Sea.

When Lord Dannatt was asked if the clash meant it was “squeaky bum time”, he warned: “It is.”
