Lady C: She asked about private pair’s ‘cultural differences’

A Top biographer has claimed the race row that has shaken the monarchy was triggered by remarks by the Princess Royal – which were not racist.

Lady Colin Campbell – who has penned eight books about the Windsors – said Princess Anne, 70, had merely discussed “cultural differences”.

But her comments had been taken out of context and “weaponised”, the author alleged.
