FATHER Christmas impersonators are being offered up to £100 an hour amid Britain's Santa shortage.

Scores of ads are filling job sites, offering salaries of up to £800 a day.

It comes as a lack of Santas, sparked by Covid and Brexit, has led to grottos across the nation being scrapped.
