I HAVE an eight-year-old daughter and I’ve realised she lies quite a lot and not just to me but to other children and adults.
I’m becoming increasingly worried about what this will mean as she grows up and if she’ll have any friends left.
Most of the lies she tells aren’t serious – for example, saying that her dad has told her she can have something when he hasn’t or saying she’s done her homework when she hasn’t.
