RAGING Joe Root blasted his bowlers for failing to pitch the ball up in Adelaide as his team went 2-0 down in the Ashes.
Staring at another 5-0 whitewash, Root lashed out at the bowling attack, spearheaded by experienced duo James Anderson and Stuart Broad, for not being brave enough.
The batsmen played their part in the 275-run hammering but the fact that his bowlers clearly didn't do what he asked them to is a huge concern for the captain.
